Meet our Clinical Staff
Dr. Taran Bhatia DDS
Dr. Bhatia grew up in Toledo, Ohio. Upon graduating high school she attended the University of Toledo, where she graduated cum laude. She then went on to receive a partial scholarship to attend Ohio State University. She completed her degree and graduated in 2001. In 2001 Dr. Bhatia traveled to Texas and later completed her residency at the VA hospital in Temple, TX. She decided to open her first dental practice in 2005 and opened her Temple practice in 2008. She has made the Austin area of Texas her home, partially, because of her love for live music and festivals. Dr. Bhatia is also very passionate about volunteer services, especially, organizations that feed the homeless and aid victims of domestic violence. Kids Against Hunger, Safeplace and Asian Family Support Services, just to name a few.
Dr. Bhatia is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Central Texas Dental Society and Hispanic Dental Association. In her spare time she loves spending time with her three children, twin boys (five) and a daughter (6.5). She also has a passion for traveling and dancing. She has traveled all over including a Safari in Kenya, Italy, Greece, India and Mexico.
Dr. Quyen Lee
Dr. Quyen Lee was born and raised in San Jose, California. She attended University of California, Davis where she earned a spot on the Dean’s Honor List and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She, then, attended the Arthur A Dugoni, Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco on a full U.S. Army scholarship. Dr. Lee graduated in 2006 with high honors. Dr. Lee served as an active duty dentist for over three years and honorably retired from active duty military service from Ft. Hood, Texas in January 2010. She joined Temple Dental Arts in November 2013. When not working, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling, reading, running, playing badminton and watching cooking shows. Most of all she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and son.

Manager/Clinical and Front Desk
Hi, my name is Maria Gorostieta. I was born in Temple, Texas but was raised in the very small town of Chilton, Texas. Chilton is about forty minutes northeast of Temple. I love country living and I don’t think I would trade it for the world. I have a wonderful and loving husband and three beautiful daughters. We love our family time and doing things together, as much as possible. I have been working for Temple Family Dentistry for over three years and in the fall of 2013 was appointed Office Manager. While that position keeps me busy, I am also a Registered Dental Assistant and assisting the Dentist’s is also incorporated into my daily work routine. I am certified in Pit and Fissure Sealants, Coronal Polishing and Nitrous Oxide. I love working at Temple Dental arts and call the staff my family. I, especially, enjoy working with children and improving their oral health and smiles
Billing Specialist/Front Desk
I was born and raised in the small city of Killeen, Texas. Upon receiving my Registered Dental Assistant Certificate in the spring of 2012 I began working with Temple Dental Arts. I can honestly say that I love my job and co-workers! After two years working as a front desk employee, I am proud to say that I have advanced into the billing department as Billing Specialist with the support of Dr. Taran Bhatia. I, fully, enjoy my position with Temple Dental Arts and intend on being a star employee for years to come. On the weekends I love to spend time outdoors with my beautiful, five-year-old daughter. We like to play soccer, softball, and swimming beneath the sun and evening jogs.
Maribel works the front desk and has been a member of Temple Dental Arts staff for a little over a year. She loves her job and the people she works with. She was born and raised in Texas and is proud and excited to call Texas her home. Maribel was blessed with four brothers and two sisters and is the youngest of them all. At twenty years old, Maribel is hardworking and strives for her dreams and will not stop until she achieves them. She is very family oriented and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Maribel is engaged to be married to her boyfriend of seven years and is excited to go through life’s journey with him as her husband. She looks forward to being a part of the Temple Dental Arts family for a long time.
My name is Veronica Salazar. I was born in Temple, Texas but raised in a small town named Chilton,Texas. I graduated from Chilton Independent School District in 2009. I, then, attended college in 2010 where I went into the dental program where I receive my Registered Dental Assistant Certification. I have been working with Dr. Bhatia for over three years. One of the things I enjoy most about dentistry is to see how changing a patient’s smile transforms their lives. I have been married to my, wonderful, husband since May of 2010. We have a beautiful six-year-old daughter and are expecting another addition to our family in the summer of 2015. We also have two dogs that enrich our lives daily. In my free time I enjoy shopping and spending time with my family.

Hello, Welcome to Temple Dental Arts! My name is Yasmine. I graduated from Chilton High School in 2009 and live in Chilton with my family, which also consists of two dogs. I joined the team of Temple Dental Arts in November of 2013 as a front desk receptionist. I have recently been given the opportunity to work in the back of the house with the Doctors and Dental Assistants. I am learning more about the field of dentistry, daily. I hope to continue and further my education in the years to come. I love meeting and greeting new faces every day and enjoy working with all of our staff. We have such a great team! In my free time, I love living a healthy lifestyle and working out daily.
My name is Yolanda Ramirez and I am 24 years old. I have been married to my awesome husband and we have three handsome little boys. We live in Belton with my mother and brother. Our house is never quiet with young children running around. I am a Registered Dental Assistant and recently joined the team at Temple Dental Arts. I became a dental assistant so I could spend more time with my children. Before that, I was working two jobs and had little time for my children. I wanted a job that would allow me to have more time with them so I went back to school at Everest in Austin. I love every minute of being a Dental Assistant and wouldn’t want to be anything else. In my free time, I spend my time doing activities with my children. We go to the park or watch movies together.

I was raised in Killeen, Texas and am continuing my education at Central Texas College to obtain a certificate for medical office specialist. I am a proud, single parent raising two, amazing children. I am determined to succeed and am willing to help others along the way. Especially to make you smile.
Hello! My name is Marlen. I have been at Temple Dental Arts, formally known as Temple Family Dentistry for four and a half years. I have a little boy. In my free time I like to shop, do sports and spend time with the ones I love. I love what I do and wouldn’t change my profession for anything in the world.
My name is Micaela Barrientos. In the spring of 2012 I began working at Temple Dental Arts and received my certification as a Registered Dental Assistant. As wife of my high school sweetheart and mother to our two children, I enjoy spending most of my free time with my family. Riding our horses, attending rodeos and long walks through our quaint hometown are just a few of my hobbies. I take pride in my position at Temple Dental Arts because I can honestly say “I help improve the world, one smile at a time.”

Hello, my name is Esabela. I have worked with Dr. Bhatia at Temple Dental Arts since February of 2013. I love my job as a dental assistant and couldn’t have chosen a better career. I love making a difference in patient’s oral health. Seeing the changes and watching the kids grow up is wonderful. I look forwared to meeting each and every patient. I am the mother of two wonderful little boys. I living in Chilton, TX which is about 45 minutes from Temple but I don’t mind the drive. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and shopping.
Hello, my name is Catalina Torres. I attended Belton High School and received my diploma in 2014. I am nineteen years old and recently graduated from Austin Dental Assistant School. Since graduating my passion for Dental Assisting has grown. My high school sweetheart and I have been together for over six years and hope to marry and have children someday. My parents were high school sweethearts and have been married 26 years. I am the middle child of three. I have two dogs, Sadiee and Skyee who love to play in the park and meet other people. In my spare time I love to watch movies and be around my family.
